Horses Helping Humans
We have been on this path for over 20 years delivering equine-assisted services to our community and youth in need. With a recurring monthly donation of $20 towards general, scholarship, and program funding, you will be supporting our capacity to continue providing quality services and creating access to services (through scholarships), as well as developing new programs. Also, please consider us for your corporate giving initiative and help youth receive much needed social-emotional learning and mental health services in Montezuma County.
We believe in the positive power of humans to help, horses to heal, and space to be held.

Our Donor Recognition Plan
As we prepare our organization for all that the coming years will bring, we gratefully accept and celebrate support of all kinds. Each gesture, donation, or involvement of your energy is deeply felt and will echo in our hearts and minds.
We want to especially recognize all who are a part of securing our home for the future.
“You Belong” Legacy Leaders- gifts of $50,000 and up
Metal plaques inscribed with words and quotes of belonging and love, chosen by donors, will be installed around the property. Donors are welcome to choose whether or not to include their names or the legacy of honorees, and we will also include our leading donors in selection of names for our arenas and special funds for ongoing services.
Keepers of the Friendly Stalls- gifts from $1,000-$15,000
Acknowledgements of your contribution will be added to a special space of recognition at the entrance to the horses’ stalls. Donors are welcome to choose whether or not to include their names or the legacy of honorees.
Land Steward Protectors- gifts from $15,000-49,000
Plaques with kind words and quotes of belonging will be affixed to a special Land Steward Protectors gathering space welcoming visitors to contemplate, convene, and converse. Donors are welcome to choose whether or not to include their names or the legacy of honorees.
Herd of Healing Horses- gifts up to $1,000
Your gift will receive collective recognition as part of the “Herd of Healing” supporters group art installation in our center garden, at the heart of the healing Medicine Horse space.

Monetary donations are just one way to be a part of the ongoing community services offered at Medicine Horse. We welcome in-kind donations like equipment, hay, or property management assistance. We are also seeking the time & support of community members as we convene a special Capital Campaign committee while we work towards securing our home for the future, and we welcome other forms of volunteerism as well.
